Cooperation of parents and children: a factor of family mental health

Abstract. The article dedicated to investigation of cooperation strategies of parents with schoolchildren. It is a factor of mental health in families. The problem of parent's strategies influencing on schoolchildren mental health is actual. The criterion of mental health in our investigation is a coefficient of emotional satisfaction. It depends on parent's strategies in cooperation with children. The peculiars of parent's strategies are the defense mechanisms. They appear as a result of parent's defense behavior. Some defense mechanisms are the results of mother's defense behavior. Our investigation doesn't reveal the interdependence of emotional satisfaction and children psychological defense mechanisms.
